February Update: Duplicate Detection and Usage Warnings

2026-02-22

Duplicate PDF detection

Uploading the same PDF twice now shows an amber warning instead of silently creating a duplicate invoice. The warning tells you when the file was previously uploaded, so you can confirm whether it's genuinely a duplicate or an intentional re-upload.

If you do want to upload it again (for instance, to re-extract with updated settings), click Upload anyway and it goes through as normal.

This prevents accidental duplicates from eating into your monthly quota and creating extra cleanup work in your accounting software.

Usage warning at 80%

Free and Starter users now see an amber banner when they've used 80% of their monthly invoice allowance. For example, on the free plan (5 invoices), the banner appears after your 4th upload.

The banner includes an upgrade link so you can add capacity before hitting the hard limit. No more surprise "limit reached" errors mid-batch.
